 I need to write to keep me focussed and calm.

We have just put an offer on a house in New Brunswick. The St. Stephen area to be exact.

My heart is racing and I have a stomachache close to what anyone would assume is the flu. I am not nervous about the house. I love the house. Ohhh the house... 

I am nervous they won't accept our offer. I am also nervous about the fact that I have never seen New Brunswick. Yes, you read right... we are moving to a place we know nothing about. Well, that isn't exactly true. I've researched my little brain out with all that I can learn but still... never actually SEEN the place.

It has a very fisherman town feel which I adore. We have talked with a few people in NB and they have the most fantastic accents. A mix of Canadian and Scottish or Irish feel. Love that so much.

Also, everyone is incredibly kind and so sweet.

But it's a much slower pace than where I've been raised. I don't know how I'll like that. I think I will but I can't say anything for sure until I am there.

We have a great realtor over there. Her name is Janelle Oakes and she actually contacted me thru a Facebook group I joined. She's been extremely honest and very willing to do the leg work we need. Actually, the realtor who sold our house, Steve Hill was magnificent as well.

This journey so far as been...... stupidly smooth. We have had to adjust to some things, change our expectations with what we hoped to sell for and also be patient over the decisions that we had no control over. Every moment that we have and can, we pray. Pray for wisdom and calm. For the strength to make the right decisions and to be patient.
